Who?

Let’s be honest; we have tons of pictures and lots of videos that replicate our “Kodak” moments and experiences. But what do we do with them? I have 30 photo books of my children growing up.
Do they want these books?
The answer is, “No.”
And it’s not to be harsh, but it is a painful reality that we capture life on our phones, explain it on social media and there it stays, our chronicled life unless we do something about this. We live in a mobile society that loves a good story when placed in a format that is meaningful, impactful, emotional, tells a story and is at our fingertips and thumbs.
Record your voice or someone else’s voice and put it in a saved folder on your computer where you can transcribe and edit it when you have time. This strategy gives you a simple place to store whoever you want to remember. You begin to know and remember where to find the memories and stories that are poignant, beautiful and chronicle your history. I am digitizing the thirty photo books. It takes time as I wrack my brains for a story that stands out in all these pictures but it’s my insurance policy to good stories sticking around. Because the photos and the stories are going in a digitized format and a book format, so these heartfelt experiences are shared now and with future generations too.
It’s a simple formula that you can get down, ask me about or utilize my services but the take away here is: who do you want to be captured in a book so their stories, their thoughts, and their voice can be found? Who do you want to read when you want to remember? You know you can find them because they are sitting on your shelf.
Here’s the free ebook I wrote on how to start doing this for yourself if you want more information or give me a call.
